Elvis is back — and back and back and … — at Oneida Casino.
Elvis Presley wannabes from all over the country once again will descend upon the casino for a shot at winning $5,000 in prize money for the Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. It’s the centerpiece of Rockin’ E Jamboree II: The Return of Elvis Sept. 12-16 in the Main Casino Lounge and 3 Clans Ballroom.
The five-day bash — a sequel to last year’s inaugural event — will crown The King winner on Sept. 16, after five rounds of competition over three days. Rockin’ E also features a daily slate of nostalgic music acts, including Buddy Holly’s Original Crickets, Remembering Ricky Nelson with James Burton and the Nelson Brothers and the Truly Lover Trio’s A Tribute to Roy Orbison.
Tickets cost $40 for a five-day pass or $15 daily and are on sale at Oneida Casino, Oneida Mason Street Casino and www.oneidacasino.net. There’s an eight-ticket limit.
